About Graffisol
Graffisol is a transparent graphene nanocoating applied to solar panels to optimise performance, boosting energy output by up to 15% through anti-reflective properties, thermal regulation and self-cleaning capabilities.
A precisely engineered graphene-infused transparent coating modifies the optical and thermal behaviour of solar panel surfaces. Unlike a standard anti-reflective coating, it also manages heat, repels water and dust, and protects the glass.
What it improves
- 10–15% energy efficiency gainReduces optical reflectance and enhances light transmission, increasing photon absorption by photovoltaic cells.
- Surface temperature reductionHigh thermal conductivity enables rapid heat dissipation, minimising hotspots and thermal losses.
- Hydrophobic natureLow surface energy creates a water-repellent layer that limits dust adhesion and contamination build-up.
- 9H hardness & scratch resistanceForms a high-hardness protective layer that improves resistance to mechanical abrasion and surface damage.
How it works
- Coat
Graffisol is applied to the solar panel surface as a transparent graphene nanocoating.
- Transmit
Reduced reflectance lets more light reach the photovoltaic cells.
- Protect
The coating sheds heat, repels water and dust, and shields the glass from scratches.
Applications
- Rooftop solar
- Utility-scale solar farms
- Building-integrated solar
- Off-grid systems
- Solar-powered equipment
